Pokemon mid af. I still play it tho.
Classic pokemon fanPokemon mid af. I still play it tho.
ElaborateNintendo 3DS is one the worst handheld console ever.
EDIT
the backwards compatibility is not good, the 3ds' native resolution isn't an exact multiple of the ds' so the games look like a blurry mess unless you play them letterboxedI cannot agree with you on that, especially not with the DS backward compatibility.
The 3D s%$t and all those awful games, for me it's many steps backward compared to the DS.Elaborate

If you look at it from a certain angle pokemon is animal abuse , you catch these animal looking creatures force them to fight for you in a battle that will end in death of one of the 2 pokemons just so you can achieve more power and become a legendary pokemon hunter.Pokemon mid af. I still play it tho.
I'm fine if it's hard, I don't like it if it's unfair.I will never understand people that enjoy playing games that makes them frustrated/angry/annoyed/stressed out. Looking at you Mega Man series, Ghost N Goblins, Souls, etc... I steer clear from them. If you enjoy eating, you wouldn't be putting live crabs into your mouth.
Its a challenge mate , if a game doesn't punish me for doing mistakes in a way that is harsh but fair it feels too easy.I will never understand people that enjoy playing games that makes them frustrated/angry/annoyed/stressed out. I'd argue that the challenge is where the satisfaction comes from.I will never understand people that enjoy playing games that makes them frustrated/angry/annoyed/stressed out. Sorry but this kind of analysis is getting old (and it's annoying when people repeat that same rhetoric). If you look at it from a certain angle Pokemon is animal abuse , you catch these animal looking creatures force them to fight for you in a battle that will end in death of one of the 2 Pokemons just so you can achieve more power and become a legendary Pokemon hunter.
It's kinda argue that some games are hard not because of the challenge but because they're badly balanced. Its a challenge mate , if a game doesn't punish me for doing mistakes in a way that is harsh but fair it feels too easy.
Its like sudden strike an RTS where you can't train soldiers all you get is all you have play carefully and plan out well executed maneuvers your casualties will be low , do too many mistakes and your entire infantry force will dissipate within seconds.
Easy games get boring fast and hard difficulty makes for a more memorable experience.
This is true, you literally can't kill anyone in Pokemon universe, in fact the only way take anyone's life out is to petrify them to stone. The difference is that in that franchise's universe pokémons are actually thriving from fighting since they're not like normal animals. Also they don't die, even a powerful attack only knocks them out.
yes, they aren't even allowed to die, either getting revived again and again to serve in the never ending battles or having their very ghosts captured....!!! truly a fate worse than deathSorry but this kind of analysis is getting old (and it's annoying when people repeat that same rhetoric).

I thought they died well I'm not into pokemon.I'd argue that the challenge is where the satisfaction comes from.

Spelunker on the NES or Superman 64 are both hard games but not in the good way.
*Removes mask* I knew it, you are GhetsisIf you look at it from a certain angle pokemon is animal abuse , you catch these animal looking creatures force them to fight for you in a battle that will end in death of one of the 2 pokemons just so you can achieve more power and become a legendary pokemon hunter.
NEIN*Removes mask* I knew it, you are Ghetsis
Also Team Plasma isn't outed at being no better than Team Rocket or other teams as they're only telling to liberate pokémons only as a way to weaken any opponent?*Removes mask* I knew it, you are Ghetsis
Maybe they could try giving us eight moves per Pokemon in the main games for added strategy and keeping the four moves as an optional ruleset or mechanic in future competitive gamesI don't know if this is a hot take anymore, but I don't like how Pokémon generations since 6 have each come with one gimmick that they completely get rid of afterwards. That seems to be about to change, though.
Maybe this is a hot take: I think the mainline Pokémon games should adopt Legends' battle system (with some changes) and save the turn-based combat for Pokémon Champions or whatever competitive Stadium equivalent comes up.
Mega evolutions were innovative but too Digimon-y.I don't know if this is a hot take anymore, but I don't like how Pokémon generations since 6 have each come with one gimmick that they completely get rid of afterwards. That seems to be about to change, though.

I think that nothing surpassed Explorer of Time/Darkness/Skies (apparently Super Mystery Dungeon was good but Gates to Infinity was the weakest entry) but I'd love to see them give Chunsoft a new shot for that spin-off series that is probably the only one to get dual versions and remakes like the mainline one.I wish they would make more interesting Pokemon spinoff games – they all seem to have dried up (except mobile gacha games, of course) these days. I really loved the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, and a lot of the puzzle games were very good, too. I'd also love to try out that Pokemon/Nobunaga's Ambition crossover. And the Tekken one! Why don't they do stuff like that, anymore? If the mainline games are going to keep sucking, they could at least use those monster designs elsewhere.
I disagree, as much as the series is today you cannot genuinely tell that Green and Red/Red and Blue as well as Yellow, Gold & Silver and Crystal are not good JRPGs on handhelds.Pokemon was never good.
