I got the first game for "free" with PS plus, first 30 mins I thought, meh, it's just another micro-budget metroidvania. But after that, the game's art style, world building and difficulty really caught me off-guard. I have no problem saying it's one of my fave games of the last decade, and I have total faith in Team Cherry for Silksong.

I tried it on Game Pass but couldn't get into it. I'm pretty picky with Metroidvania games since there are so many of them, however I thought this one would be for me given how much praise it got, but yeah, I just couldn't get into it. I accept that it's a good game, probably even a great one, it just didn't appeal to me for whatever reason.

I'm glad Silksong fans can finally play their game after living on insanity for years like the Arkham fans (I feel their pain as a Arkham fan), hopefully the game is the dream game they have imagined for years.

Now I'll be in the waiting list for Metroid Prime 4, just wait and hope boys and girls.

Hollow Knight is a 10/10 game for me. I love metroidvanias, and HK is one of my favorites in the genre!

I can't believe its been like 8 years.I hope the wait and the hype doesn't diminish the reception of Silksong. A lot of people will be disappointed no matter what, especially if its not as good as the first one.
Obviously I'm hoping its as good or better than the first game, but I'll still be happy if its "just" a good game.

There's literally no REASON to have a team of specialized, hand picked professionals create a unique experience tailored to a hardware so it can reach it's full potential. Not only does it give them room to focus on creating a really good videogame BUT it also creates value for said hardware which is freaking ridiculous. Why would people want reasons to own a piece of hardware????

even worse, when your own company doesn't or can't fund an idea but you manage to convince one of the big three to fund and publish your idea, having them help you and securing development and only worrying about making a great game.

I played a couple hours of Hollow Knight once but I really wasn't feeling it. Maybe I should try again before this comes out.

Finally, lots of hopes and dreams of a entire fandom are complete, seven years now will sound like nothing, but the patience of its fans made a long grueling trip a great example of focusing on the mountain's top instead of on the jagged rocks, well people, see you in two weeks
