Higurashi When They Cry New Series

I am, a diehard when they cry fan. Higurashi and Umineko are some of my favourite pieces of art ever made in general, so I may be biased.
Earlier today, Ryukishi07 and Studio Deen announced a new Higurashi anime. There are no details at the moment, however Ryukishi has implied it is a new story. Here is the new anime visual along with the poster.

What do you think? Will it suck like gou/sotsu? What could the story even be about? Does it even look good?
