Never played the game, and am terrible at shooters, but I'll give it my best.

Man, It's not bad from what i just played, and I'm very surprised it was made by Genki. But this game was on a platform with a mouse as a control option, they should have used it. Apparently it was ported to PC at some point, maybe we can get that on the Repo one day so we can have proper controls. D-pad always feels very tough with these kind of games.

Edit: Yeah I am throwing in the towel. The d-pad controls are just not accurate, and cannot keep up with the sheer number of incoming attacks. That's on NORMAL btw. Not all old Is gold. I'm sure I'd like it with mouse controls decently enough. But this? No.

Yeah the controls are very twitchy on this one. I'm not sure about the JP only PC release as I haven't attempted to install it and get it working. If it had mouse support I bet it would make playing this much easier.
