RULES

1. Competitions last two weeks, and close @ midnight on the final day.
2. Post screenshots in this thread as proof.
3. The winner from the previous competition chooses the next game to play.
4. You cannot choose twice in a row. 2nd place will choose if someone wins twice in a row.
5. If there’s a tie, the person that submitted the high score first gets to choose.
6. Games must be high score compatible (think “arcade style scores” like Pac-Man, or Spy Hunter, not Super Mario).
7. Emulation is okay (MAME is often the best for high scores).
8. No save state manipulation (pausing to take a break is fine though).
9. Submit scores as soon as you get them! To keep the competition rolling and fair, do not hold on until the last moment to submit.

Points will be awarded for the entrants, based on the position finished. This is to encourage wider participation, and the points will be posted on the website after each battle is complete.

Overall, we should keep it simple. This is just a good time, not a crazy official high score competition! Game plays should ideally be short and fun so people that can’t invest hours into this can still compete. Obviously we are working on a trust based system here, so don’t ruin it for the others!

Wish I saw this post earlier... I love this game and know some tricks to get ultra high scores that most people aren't aware of. In fact there's a way to get a 100 MILLION point bonus but the setup is sort of tedious. There's some high score competitions on youtube that describe the trick in detail.

Another interesting detail is you can change the balls color but it's still totally unknown how to get the pink ball to spawn. I wish this game had more people playing it so there would be better documentation.

I know the competition is almost over but if anyone wants to know a way to get a really high score quickly you can do so by chaining perfect bonus games on the same ball. Some of them are a lot tougher than others though (and you lose your castle blocking the drain when you exit) so it's easier said than done.

I've tried to get to games ending to play (yes the game DOES end at 999999999pts) since its a challenge on RetroAchievements but ive only been able to get to ~250000000pts or 25% of the way there. That took me SO MANY HOURS too since I was trying to play intentionally cautious.

One of my favorite games ever. No other pinball game comes close to this in terms of fun or quality - not even Aliens Crush.

That's awesome. I usually try to refrain from looking up any details about the game while these battles are happening, because I don't want to make the competition unfair.

That said, you can submit scores for battles that have ended, would be great to have more submissions on the site.

I was able to get the blue ball several times, but have not seen the pink one. I think most the points in my run came from completing bonus stages, as it was only 21 mins long. I had a previous run with 19 million points that was a longer runtime.

One of the bonus stages gave me 11 million points for completing it.
