hi, i just got Resident Evil 6 a week or so ago, and have been trying out the different moves - im kind of familiar with the action resident evil games, i got most of the s ranks on the 3ds mercenaries game, save for the ex levels
im trying to consistently pull a coup de grace move by headshotting and then sliding into the enemy - quickshots, standard melee combos, and dash attacks all take up one bar of stamina, so i thought it would be the most efficient way to get CDGs, considering I just need to shoot once, slide (use one bar of stamina), and then execute the CDG (one bar of stamina)
i can pull off the stuns on the regular zombie enemies just fine, but if i do a headshot and then charge theyll be stunned; just with their backs facing me. ive only come up with some workarounds: if i run up to them and turn around so we're face-to-face, then maaaybe, five times out of ten, will the melee prompt come up and i could CDG. problem is that moving towards them like that is really awkward and time-wasting.
another workaround is shooting their arms instead of their heads, so when i shoot their arms theyll turn their backs to me and when i slide into them theyll turn back around and face me. but the arm is admittedly a much narrower target and sometimes the zombies wont even respond if i shoot their arms, so this method isnt 100% consistent either.
any pros in here that have experience with this? whats your workaround?
