Help running burned cd of ps1 games with mechapwn

its just going to no input after spinning for a bit, i installed mecha pwn with the usa retail and it wont work for the backup

It needs to be set as Usa retail Dex. Was your console ntsc us to begin with? Try running a retail ps1 game.

Also force unlock must be off for ps1 backups.

It depends on how you install mechapwn. You have the option to play PS2 backups but then PS1 backups won't work. This system has a few inconsistencies, so better check the documentation:
