Help me pick my first Fire Emblem

it depends there are a couple places you can start, FE11, FE13, FE7, and FE16 have all been thrown around, but I think for someone who is already experienced with SRPGs the best place to start may be FE6: The Blinding Blade, its medium difficulty and would be a good introduction to the most basic mechanics of the series

GBA titles for the easiest introduction gotta be Sacred Stones. I think it'll also be good to do all the GBA titles first to gauge if you want to continue more into the series before making a commitment to the 3DS and Switch titles as the GBA are very easy to find or even play on browser. There's also 2 titles smack in the middle of those main entry points Path of Radiance on the GameCube and Radiant Dawn on the Wii. I want to stress these are not to be skipped but never pick Dawn as your first even if you like painful mechanics.

I've never played through an entire Fire Emblem except
Fire Emblem Gaiden
And I've beaten that one several times

start with the GBA games, its where everyone in the west first really got introduced to the series. it will give you a great first look, and then you can branch out.

FIRE EMBLEM THE SACRED STONES IS GREAT FOR BEGINNERS AND A NICE INTRODUCTION TO THE SERIES AS A WHOLE BECAUSE IS REALLY FAIR IN DIFFICULTY WHILE HAVING ELEMENTS THAT ARE MORE ACCOSTUMED FOR PEOPLE FAMILIAR WITH OTHER RPGS BUT NOT SRPGS

Sorry for the caps but i love fire emblem, is mu favorite game series :3
These are your answers. Sacred Stones is kino.
Then you can stick with the other 2 games (FE6 finally got translated) or move on to the Gamecube ones.

in the realm of starting with the gba games; if you want something easier I'd start with sacred stones. if you're up for a challenge and have some familiarity with trpgs, I'd go with the fan translation of binding blade. There is also merit in starting with blazing blade, the first to release in the west, especially if you enjoy games referring to you directly as the player, as it is also the first fire emblem game to have you make a character of your own, albeit very minimalistically

why do you torture yourself in this way?

but in all seriousness, why fe2 over fe15?
It's easier for beginners and more fun for people who prefer the classic famicom graphics.

I never get tired of seeing Celica attack.

Although the GBA games might be the easiest choice, Fire Emblem Awakening has so much heart put into it, being that at the time of its release it was to be the last entry, the music the characters and the content.

There is no other Fire Emblem more tailored to welcome new and existing players alike, it is the culmination of the series, and marks a before and after.

all of this games are awesome but with Awakening you will truly see if you are for the long run or not.

If 3ds is definitively not an option by all means go GBA>DS>NGC.

here is some music

If you have 3DS or using 3DS emulator, you definitely should try FE Awakening, that game made me felt in love with FE series. This game is very friendly to beginner, or someone just play FE for the first time.

Another choice is Fire Emblem on GBA.
