Help me find an old spaceship game

Do you guys know that iconic titanic quote: "Now it only exists in my memory", this is me right now.

The story is: around 10 years ago I would search across the internet for some random games, often spaceship ones from the 2010 era.
To name a few that I have played: Galaxy Strike, Monster Galatic, Deadly Stars, Incinerate, Lethal Judgment...
then one day I came across a pretty different spaceship game, which happens to be the one I'm looking for.

I can't remember the name of the game but only specific details:
it was a 3D game focused on exploration, you controlled a black spaceship and you could explore a planet flying around on your ship, though there was only a jungle as far as I could see.
On the ship, you could fly up to the space but there was a limit, you could fly in the direction to the sun until your ship explodes once you passed a certain distance (that was the limit). When exploring, you could also unboard the ship and explore on foot.

That pretty much sums it, keep in mind that I was a kid back then, that's why the details are a bit sparse. I may be able to say for sure if it was that game if I see a gameplay video of it or if I manage to get my hands on it. Thanks in advance.

And to all brazillians on duty, I downloaded that game on the old popular brazillian website called "baixaki" if you are brazillian you probably know about it.
Those were the good days, the site has decayed a lot since then.

Should have read a little more. Didn't see that you were basically stuck on a planet with a jungle. It shouldn't be Freelancer in that case...

I had a look at that game, it wasn't it but it's quite similar.

Yes. All the exploration was only on that planet.
it's funny, when I put it like that the title "spaceship" looks a bit misleading

Now there is something you reminded me of, when you got out of the ship, the ground exploration was first-person, so you couldn't see the clothes (that is, if memory serves me right).

But on ship, the exploration on the sky was always third-person, you could see the whole ship.

Pretty much, but I remember being able to see the whole ship. Perhaps I could move the camera with my mouse or something.
...you know, I was searching for black aircrafts and I came across one that I feel like if it's not the one of the game, it's very similar to it, the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.
if that happens to be the case, then maybe it was not a 'spaceship' game after all

I hate Titanic. It doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand, I know. It just any reference to Titanic triggers me.

The Blackbird has a pretty unique silhouette. Not a lot of games where I can recall it being flyable. Ace Combat 3 was one, but that's beside the point I guess.
