Help me decide on a game!

So I really dig RPGs, and October has sort of become stacked in terms of RPG options! I certainly couldn't afford to buy every game I'm interested, so I'm trying to figure out which I should pick up first and which ones I should save for a later sale.

The options:

I hear a lot of bad things about the Switch Pokemon games, so maybe avoid the Pokemon one.

it's hard for me because i do want to play all of them

(tho i would definitenly pick this one because i am dragon quest fan)

Dragon Quest is a easy safe pick I'd choose, always good times. I heard the Digimon games are high quality though so maybe if you enjoy those kind of games then definitely.

Yeah, part of the tough decision is that these are all part of franchises I typically enjoy quite a bit. Even Pokemon, for all its flaws

DQ XI was so much fun! Especially the expanded S version! I would recommend checking out more DQ games if you haven't yet

I heard the they will Censor Tales of Xillia Remaster for ethical reason whatever that means.
And naturally they removed gender from the Dragon Quest Remake

again but what can I say about this as a Body type A person myself or is it now body type B.
And Pokemon for the Switch is mostly slop sadly so the only option left would probably be Digimon as I did not hear anything negative about this one yet.

Still annoying as they did do it with Dragon Quest 3 Remake and I really see no reason why they would do it besides being stupid as nobody likes that and nobody is served with it either.
And well we never know what else in the game may have been rewritten who knows.
I am just very cautious after the Dragon Quest 3 remake

I suppose it remains to be seen exactly how Xillia remastered is censored. I didn't find anything saying exactly how. Worst-case scenario, I do still have the PS3 version but I'm not overly concerned.

Yeah the most concerning is that its so vague on what is censored maybe just some decorations for your character or may even worse.

Everytime you Ignore censorship in games two kittens die.Anyway I just brought it up if ya play and buy the game is not of my concern.

In the first one and second my bad yet they did in Dragon Quest 3 wich everyone can freely look up.And calling out censorship and changing stuff for modern audiences is not grifting.

Yes mostly dialogue in Dragon quest 3 that was changed and some other stuff.

I don't know about dialogue, the Spanish translation is as racist as always, and I didn't play the original so those changes don't affect me nor the story

Objectively speaking, that new Digimon is probably the wiser choice. It's a brand new entry in my favourite Digimon sub-series.

You are correct that Pokemon isn't a beacon of quality these days, but being a "Legends" game makes a difference.
Legends Arceus was one of the best Pokemon games I've played in ages, and they haven't had the chance to tarnish the "Legends" brand juuuuuuuuuuust yet

Dragon Quest & Xillia are remasters/remakes of games I do already have in some form or another, but I would like to play them and check out the QOL improvements and general differences.

I think it might just be me, but I couldn't really tell the difference in the pictures provided for some of those changes. To be honest, gender-restricted clothing in games kinda bugs me in general
