Hi. I'm a long time lurker on this site (mainly used it for the Repo), and haven't checked out these forums all that much until recently. I got bored at work and saw some threads I wanted to participate in, so that's why I'm here now.

I've been playing retro games for a while, but I've somewhat recently started actually collecting consoles as opposed to just emulating. So far, I have an NES, SNES, PS1, and PS2. As for my favorite genres, I usually enjoy action games (Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden), RPGs (FF, Persona), or action RPGs (Dark Souls, Kingdom Hearts). I've got a lot of great games I've yet to play though, so if you have any good recommendations for me, please let me know :).

Thank you for the recommendations. I already knew that I still haven't fully scratched the surface of all the great games there are to play, but seeing this list just further drives it home, haha. I've already played through the majority of the NES games you recommended, so I think I'll look more into the SNES and PS1 recs (MGS, Lunar, and Chrono Trigger in particular).
