So here we are.
I love video games and comic-books. Some manga and anime too.
I speak both english and spanish (though my english kind of sucks) and that's all there is to this introduction, really.

What are your favorite comic books, and what is the best difference between comics and anime?

Hey there.
My favorite comic books? Damn, that's a tough one. I don't really have a list, but just for the sake of answering your question, I'll say Monster by Naoki Urasawa, Watchmen by Alan Moore and Sandman by Neil Gaiman.

Biggest difference between comics and anime? Well, they're different mediums, of course.

Jokes aside, I think you meant manga. And I'd say the biggest difference is purely cultural. Eastern culture is very different from Western culture, and that shows in the way stories are told.

Now, with that said, to me, they're all the same. Everything is comic books.

I very much enjoy the difference between Eastern and Western storytelling, is all.

Oh, I certainly am. A true lover indeed.
I do enjoy the differences between them myself, too, don't get me wrong. It's just that I lean more toward the Western side of the spectrum. It resonates more with me.
But when it comes to comfort reading or taking a break from my daily responsibilities, you'll catch me reading manga more often than comic books.
What are your personal favorites?

My favorite comics? Not a big super hero fan (save Homelander, because parodies tell the truth and the sun exists to hide pleasant lies) but in any case, I like old school funnies like Peanuts, Dilbert, Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield. I liked Foxtrot when I last saw it.
Manga, I read seldom, the only one I've been through fully is 3x3 Eyes. I liked Thr Ancient Magus Bride to some extent.

I get you. I'm not the biggest superhero fan either, but I'll read some from time to time.
