Hey all. I never do these when I first join a forum. I usually lurk moar, but I figure an intro thread is fine at least.
I'm a big retro gaming fan, like all of you I'm sure. But I'm also fortunate enough to have a house and a wife to willing to accommodate collecting arcade hardware. So I've got a handful of cabs, with more usually on the way.
My current lineup is something like this;
Working games: Ridge Racer 2, Road Kings pinball, Flash pinball, Area 51 conversion cab, Sea Wolf, Donkey Kong cocktail
Projects: Xevious, Super Pacman -> Silk Worm conversion, Wrestlefest -> Multicade conversion, , Phoenix -> LED Storm conversion, , Capcom Bowling, Centipede Cocktail, Rollergames Pinball
I'm basically constantly fixing. Ugh, it's never ending.
I used to be a huge Sega guy. And when it comes to console hardware, I still am. No Nintendo consoles hooked up to my CRT! Nah I'm sure they're fine, there just aren't really any games on them that I want to play at the moment. I usually just re-play Crazy Taxi or Soul Calibur on my Dreamcast. Slowly working through Sakura Wars 2 though, between projects.
Over time though, I've definitely find myself favoring Namco. Their games are just so clean and smooth to play.
Anyway, I think that's about it. Ask me anything if you want. Look forward to lurking and maybe contributing on occasion.
