It's me, Kannon, and I might as well introduce myself as I don't think I really have properly aside from my about.

I'm currently as of typing this 18 years old (birthday on 12 October) and have been into retro gaming for quite a while, ever since I was a very young boy. I don't know what it was, but even before I was double digits I was curious about retro gaming, e.g. having GG Sonic on my 3DS and NES Donkey Kong on the Wii via the Virtual Console and having a NES controller schoolbag in primary that was about as big as me at the time (I still have that bag and still use it, although I have grown ). I'm also pansexual and non-binary [AMAB] and go by any pronouns, if that's worth mentioning. My other interests include anime, notably the likes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Sailor Moon (as you probably could have guessed by my [as of typing this] Haruka Tenou PFP), Lupin III, Black Lagoon and Fist of the North Star. My collection consists of:

• SNES
• PAL Mega Drive Model 1 VA6.5
• US Sega Game Gear VA1 (recapped)
• Sega Saturn Model 1
• Game Boy DMG
• 2008 Xbox 360 Elite

I do also have a PS2 but that sadly does not work at this point in time but I do hope to send it off for repair. This is Kannon, signing off, and I hope you all, as Mankind would say, have a nice day!

I was never really into retro gaming myself when I was younger, although I did play a lot of those games just because it was what I had. I was always more interested in PS1/PS2 era stuff which tbf back then was just the current generation lol.
I respect the mention of Black Lagoon, NGE is pretty good, I've yet to watch Sailor Moon though.

Mercury's a minor so I wouldn't necessarily say that (even considering she's my favourite out of the inners next to Makoto/Jupiter) but I agree with you on Uranus (she is an adult around the end of the series after all).

it seems like it is still pretty peak right now. the ds game has a score of 9.2 on metacritic; nearly twice the score of the show it's based on. i think at one point it was at 9.9 on there.

There is something really beautiful about how the DS and Wii which are two consoles I would say are in the ball park of best consoles ever having such a laundry list of shovelware TV/Movie tie in shit lol.

yeah, it is quite bizarre for that to have happened. for every mario game, you get 10 ninjabreadman games. for every pokemon game, you get 5 knockoffs of brain age or deal or no deal.
i guess someone at nintendo saw how much potential money there was to make on letting any random game studio or company make a game for their systems.
