A year ago or so I realized I had couple bucks in my epic games savings so I decided to look through the cheap games out of curiosity. Besides crappy games created as a joke and unity asset flips (that may or may not be used to launder money) I found this particular title interesting. I haven't played it much because it was really spooky and despite loving horror I'm not really good with it. I read some pretty harsh reviews and I'm sure I could find more info if I looked elsewhere but I'm curious whether someoene here has actually heard of it. I found the atmosphere really great in the brief 30 minutes I spent on it.

Yeah, I’ve heard of it. It’s a Welsh folklore-inspired point-and-click from 2008, right? I remember it being praised for atmosphere and story, even if the visuals and pacing felt dated. It’s one of those games that leans hard into mood over mechanics. I haven’t played it myself, but I’ve seen people say it’s underrated if you’re into slow-burn horror.

I played it long ago, along with Scratches.

There's also the whole Dark Fall series that is pretty good.

I love point and click adventure games and Rhiannon is definitely a good one. There's also Barrow Hill and as mentioned by Regulus, Darkfall and Scratches. There's also Darkfall 2 and 3, then Lost Crown. Those are the more spooky ones. But there's also another one that doesn't get mentioned often at all but in my opinion is really fun and isn't spooky and that's Keepsake.
