Legend of the Galactic Heroes for SNES let's gooooooo! I never knew how bad I needed a translation in my life. If you don't know, it's an anime series based on some novels that involves huge scale naval space wars and the politics that surround them. Basically it's Mobile Suit Gundam with no Gundams. That might not sound appealing to some, but Legend of the Galactic Heroes nails it. If I could read the menus, I'd be on this one immediately.

Well I never did until you said, so I did for lols just now and this is my result:

I think the universe is trying to give me a message or something lololol:

It almost never brings me to games I have emulators for, though. Might use it on occasion when I have a working computer again.

three times i think and it led me to these games:

which all of them were great games.

Shozou Kaga is a known Legend of the Galactic Heroes fanatic and he said he took inspiration from the series for many of his Fire Emblem characters. I imagine Nina and Camus are the ones who feel straight out of a Gundam anime.

This is a pretty competent old school PC RPG, on a 16-bit Sega console. It looks and sounds pretty awful - being a simplified and bare bones port - but it is a pretty fun game, just mute the sound and play something else.

In fact, someone on gamefaqs reviews recommends this over the original PC game, saying that in this rare case, the simplifications were for the better. I played it on an old PC, the box had all kinds of stuff like a log book, guide, diagrams, charts... quite a package.

Huh? Honesly I never heard about it, I might look into it.

Baroque is a really cool almost rogue-like dark action RPG with twisted creatures, biblical and apocalyptic imagery, a tower with floors you have to climb, etc. It was on Sega Saturn and later released with some changes on PS1, with both versions recently getting an English release and it getting some notoriety.

Baroque Syndrome (what you got) is, to my understanding, a visual novel set in the universe that advances the story. I am not very familiar with it

Many times and I think it's a cool feature, but never found something that made me say "I WANT TO PLAY IT".
I've tried it right now to reply to this topic and... well, not the ideal choice before going to sleep :loldog

The ideal choice actually, a good laugh before sleep.
