Have the PS2 emulators finally figured out every idiosincrasy of the console? What's next?

the game runs, but you cannot make the first mission.

but well, there's a code to unlock all missions, so you can simply start in the 2nd mission (it also unlocks the third city, Istambul)

I had never played this one before, downloaded it here and the game is incredible. it is a great evolution from driver 2, which is an incredible game too (better than gta 5).

I’d try the pc version first but I’ll definitely give this method a go it seems intuitive

On the other hand should I have to follow the "original artistic intent" to be able to enjoy a game? Especially since most didn't expect HD flat screens to exist.

That's probably for another debate.

Absolutely not. Upscale it, mod it, and add textures however you like. I chose authenticity to original hardware as a point of comparison to using real hardware and because enthusiasts circles such as this forum tend to have a lot of people that care about that.
