Official, homebrew, hack, anything

I run a fighting game blog and have no reason to post Hatsune Miku, but I'm also a massive autist and really want some Miku stuff on there

Is this just me not noticing her but she got a massive "revival" on the Internet? I mostly remember old memes from the late 2000's early 2010's yet she was less shown until like 2-3 years ago.

Like yes and no imo. I get what you're saying and I agree kind of but I think it's more nuanced than that. I don't have the words, or statistics, or anything to properly articulate what I mean but I feel like, whenever Miku is hitting peak popularity in the East, she's not as popular in the West and vice versa. Like, 2008-2013, that's western meme time, 2014-2019, that's everything in the East has to be ______ X Miku/Vocaloids (have you ever seen the Chinese Jason Statham Miku ad?), then 2020-2026 Miku is back to being everyone's favourite pseudo-meme. I think we're on a decline though, so hopefully we'll start getting decent crossovers again like the Monster Hunter stuff

Funny enough SEGA has made a number of fighting games few that could have fit her as guest slot as Akira and Selvaria were in dengeki bunko fighting game as well as PSO map, and miku was prominently in few many collabs in PSO2 (Japan), and that is about as close as it gets officially. Since SEGA seems to have videogame Miku rights maybe there will be a outfit or skin in new Virtua Fighter.
