Can anyone help me run Hatari portable?
I can see that the config file allows you to point to the files if you put them in the root directory. But now mater if I change it in Hatari or in the config file, when you run Hatari it forces creates it all over again in the appdata folders. I tried doing a .bat telling it to run hatari with -configfile command but it just errors.
Here is the link to Hatari's command lines if anyone could help me.

IDK about Hatari but I have tips to make:

1) This situation can be programmed in 2 ways by the developer:
- Using Windows' own way to use this whole logic.
- Specifically making the program create specific folders and/files in a specific part of the storage device.

If the developer didn't use Windows' own way: The program will ignore what you wanna do, it will always create and check whatever file it looks for in a specific place.

2) I wouldn't advise people to use bat files. It can break your Windows lol.

3) It seems like a bug in the program regarding it or a "feature" to make the whole system always work for good lol. For most programs when they have "portable mode" it's usually enough for their core ini file (the main setting file to rule them all!!! lol) to be where exe is. So when you run the program for the first time it helps to take the ini file from the appdata -> put it to root where exe is -> delete the folder from appdata. Or sometimes the exe require a specific launcher command for the exe but I can imagine some programs because of the preference of the developer may require the command and also ini file being in the same folder.

If EMU bug then hopefully the dev figures it out. If not, I hope to figure out how to use the command lines properly. I always liked the easy EMUs that are simple where you just change it in settings to point else where or something simple like a portable.txt being added the the exe root folder and done! Hahahahahaha!
