Has anyone watched speed grapher

I watched this anime last year and thought it was pretty good. I was just wondering if anyone else has watched it and what they thought about the anime?

It's kinda hard to forget the only anime that uses Duran Duran's Girls on Film for it's opening lol.

Now with that being said! Out of everything that Gonzo ever cooked Speed Grapher is probably one of their better ones I'd argue. This one kinda falls into their "edgy" category (& their edgy ones usually fall flat) but this one grew on me. Interesting enough plot & characters to get you through right t'ill the end. I personally enjoyed it... but can't remember much about the actual story lol, been too long.

Now that I'm looking... Gonzo did Desert Punk? Damn, maybe they did do good stuff after all!

I watched with my wife. Here in Brazil, there was something called "Animax", which was like a channel dedicated to anime, which is very nostalgic for us, and there was a section of the day called "lollipop" that would have some anime that were promoted as ecchi or something like that, we decided to watch SpeedGrapher just for nostalgia and giggles, but the anime barely had anything erotic, we were surprised to see a good story about capitalism, war and money, something that really sticked to me was the main antagonist and his story with his sister, I remember him saying something like "All of this... just for money". The powers were interesting too.

Yeah I watched the dub like 15 years ago....I'm not a fan of dubs but it was still good to watch.

I watched this many years. I don't remember much other than the guy used a Camera to fight.

I watched it years ago. It was unhinged in a way I really liked--at least the first half was. The second half was much more melodramatic and lost that manic charm that the first half had. I fell off before finishing it, but would still consider revisiting, if for no other reason than to hear "Girls on Film" in the OP again

The scene that always stands out to me is the teacher scene. That is some cold hearted stuff her brother did to break her. I also like how the mc is basically Frank West if Frank was actually cool instead of just telling people he was.
