Cartoons Has anyone here seen The long long holiday?

I just finished watching this show earlier and wanted to show it some love since I don't see it mentioned ever even though its absolutely excellent. It's a french cartoon about kids getting caught up in the turmoil of World War 2, specifically the german occupation of Normandy. Theres nothing particularly graphic shown but it does have some intense moments and doesn't shy away from the more disturbing subject matter too much.

Oh I have seen in French Chanel I forget the name it had same timeslots as Les Malheurs De Sophie at time but I was into childhood favorites of rewatching Madeline at that time maybe I should watch this.

I watched it with an English dub. I assume French with English subs exists if you want that, dunno where to find it though.

I wouldn't exactly call it creepy, but it has some intense moments and disturbing offscreen deaths and such. Its not as brutal as something like Animals of farthing wood, or Barefoot Gen.
