Yeah ,Yeah . The first story sucked. However the revamp story was okay. I think it would make a great game ???
Any thoughts on the matter?

Well, you have ThunderCats: The Lost Eye of Thundera for Amstrad CPC, Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum, and ThunderCats on the Nintendo DS. I liked the 1980s series myself.

The 2001-ish series was alright, which the DS game is based on.

I watched both 80s and reboot Thundercats but only tried to playing the DS game it’s there sitting in my Roms file coz I haven’t touched it since then.

I think a Diablo-type game would be kind of cool.
Maybe adapt Thundercats to it, or perhaps a Soulslike?
*God, I'm so sick of Soulslike games* Actually, a Breath of the Wild style game might work better with Thundercats.

I really liked that first version because while you knew it was a toy-related show at the time, it had such a different feel to it. It was like the airbrushed art on every 1970s van with a wizard or some weird shit, had come to life as a cartoon. Now, if you want to say fuck Snarf and fuck Snarfer even harder, I'll get on board with that. But Mandora the Evil Chaser? That big goat guy? That was some good stuff.

I didn't mind the 2011 version and didn't know why people disliked it at the time, but it had no ending, so even if the intended ending has been discussed at conventions or whatever, it's an incomplete thing still.

As far as the games go, they're all pretty subpar, but the DS one at least tried to follow the show somewhat. That 80s one that you just go left to right, not the shining star in any library, heh.
