Anime has anyone ever watched/read pugyuru?

the manga is a comedy 4koma and the anime adaptation is really low budget but it adds to the surreal charm

its about a "maid" named cheko-chan and the wild antics she and the other main character (whos name is never said besides "ma")

theres other crazy characters too, like a squid and a yuki-onna

each episode is only around 3 mins long and only 13 episodes, i say give it a go if you like random and wild oldschool comedy anime!

I have watched the anime once around this time in 2021. I haven't read the manga yet, though maybe some day if I do.

Comedy anime in general seems to have died out, hasn’t it? I wonder why that happened? They were, like, the #1 anime genre when I was growing up, and now they’re naught but a memory.

Yeah... I haven't seen a comedy anime in a long while. I wonder what happened to those. Closest I have seen is the adaptation of My Master Has No Tail, which is hilarious, but not strictly a comedy.

I haven't seen the anime this thread is about, nor read the manga.

might just be some stuff flying under the radar but its def not as big as it used to be with isekai and magic school stuff being so popular now lol
