Probably a hot take, maybe not but I beLIEve MGS2 is THE best in the franchise and that's saying something because I consider MGS1 a masterpiece in it's own right, but MGS2... has this certain feeling and atmosphere, the incredible music and art direction, the plot twists and what it had predicted, the messaging behind everything and so on.
