Halo 2 turn 21 this November 9th!

Thats right, our boy turns 21 this week and to celebrate this the Halo community is organizing a full game day on the original Xbox using Insignia with even some giveaways:

Like the promo says, is really to participate, you can use an original Xbox or just a Xemu emulator to connect to Insignia and you are good to go! The community Discord does have and easy to install Xemu pack, courtesy of the Halo Classic HUB (they did it, not I, so if you use it, please sent them a "thanks"):

Big Team Battle: 1:30PM ET / 12:30PM CT / 10:30AM PT / 6:30PM GT,

I need to jump on. It's been a while since I've used Insignia since I've been busy playing other stuff. The only downer last time I used it was that most people were playing very few games like Halo and PSO, whereas nobody's playing stuff like XIII and RtCW.

Personally I mostly have played Battlefront 2 and Rainbow Six 3.

I havent heard anything about XIII, but there is an event for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, they play on Thursday. You can check the event on this other server, i think they gladly welcome you to the servers:

21 years on, still the best. I actually played a good number of matches on Insignia until I FUBAR'd my prior Xbox with Config Magic. Oh, well. These things happen.

I would say so, they're fun games and Master Chief Collection is regularly incredibly cheap, if you aren't observing the Israel boycott list.

Eu diria que sim, são jogos divertidos e a Master Chief Collection costuma ser incrivelmente barata, a menos que você esteja seguindo a lista de boicote a Israel.

ObrigadoThanks, I'll buy the game someday to try it out. Halo is even available for PS5, or I'll buy the PC version when I fix my PC so it can run more recent games, as it only runs light games now.

I finally got around to checking out the leaked E3 2003 Halo demo and wow, it makes me appreciate the final product even more. While they were doing some interesting things tech wise (stencil shadows), Bungie wasn't lying when they said that there wasn't much of a game at that point and the whole thing was practically duct taped together.
