I've been trying to play Half Life for ps2 several times, but I've never finish the game, cause whenever I try to load my save file after loaded 2 or 3 times before, the game says there's not a save file, but if I check the memory card there actually is my save file. I have tried playing using both, physical and virtual memory card, even I tried to play the game on PS3 using a pkg and it always happen "no save file". Is this a bug or I'm cursed?, because I found nothing similar on the Internet.

Solution
Did you quicksave? Quicksaving on Half Life PS2 only saves it to RAM, you have to hardsave when done playing. The Save you have there might be your options file. It saves the options and saves to one file. Remember to hardsave.

I just try to save from main menu and damn, it was that!!! Thanks I didn't know that about quick save.

Awesome! I think this deserves "solution" points, so may move the topic to "emulation questions" to award them, given that OP mentioned using virtual means (as well as physical) to troubleshoot the game.

Glad I could help. I kinda assumed it was that, because I learned the same way, first time I played I got all the way to Surface Tension then quit assuming the quicksave had me. Suffice to say I was mortified at the result lol.
Now we're two who learned the hard way.
