Half-Life 2 Xbox

I found there is a levelchange trigger that leads back to the intro map on the Xbox version of Half-Life 2.
On PC it wouldn't be there as the intro is part of d1_trainstation_01

i played half life 2 for the first time this year. very swag money game, it flowed from one end to the other very seamlessly like watching a movie. i have only played a few first person shooter games, but half life 2 was still very impressive

Yeah, I think its pretty technically impressive for the time period. Real time physics in 2004, and if you consider Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, online multiplayer on top of that.

I've never finished HL2, I always get bored around the highway. Doom 3 and FEAR kept my attention much better in 2007 when I finally got a PC that could play them all.

Highway 17 is much more fun if you ditch the jeep and ABH through it lol

i well remember this gem, when everybody were jumping to the new xbox360/ps3 consoles i bought this and other last ogxbox games instead

iirc it worked also on xbox360 having an even better resolution (via Fusion)

This is why I love these ports so much... I might try to get for my collection, even if it is probably the worse way to play HL2 today.
