I mean I doubt it, Strive's already incredibly popular at this point in time. I'd be surprised if a Guilty Gear character doesn't show up in the next Smash

Yeah man the Doc should be there. he's quite the big part in most characters stories in the earlier games. They could easily write him into the lore with his skills.
Wakamototo Norio is up there in age but I'm still glad he's still Johnny. And my girl Baiken's there.

Yeah fighting game communities are a bit strange in that regard, some FGs have a nonexistent PC player base compared to console and others are the other way around
