Help guidance please?

good day/ afternoon/ evening
please may i be given some guidance on how to acquire an emulator that will run DOSBox on macOS please if possible?

i discovered Gabriel Knight and have only come across a site which requires stable internet with no interruptions (https://www.retrogames.cz/ )for it to run, but i would like to complete it.

fyi, there is a high chance i will not reply automatically but i appreciate any advice or guidance.


p.s. do check out the site linked above. i find it very intriguing reading comments and kudos on the site, as the dates go quite the way back.

For Gabriel Knight specifically, I recommend either ScummVM or DosBox-X, both of which have MacOs versions ^^

Dosbox-X is a good one. Granted I have Linux, but if I boot it up, click on Main, there is an option called, "Quick launch program..." that you can try. There usually aren't any shortcuts when it comes to DOSBOX, but it's always worth giving it a try (in my opinion).
