GTA 6 Physical Release May Be Delayed

We are getting more and more information that the boxed version will not be released at the same time as the digital version to prevent leaks. We receive conflicting reports: some say that the physical release will appear 3-4 weeks after the digital release, while others say that it will not happen before the beginning of 2027. More information will be available in mid-February.

Sucks to be GTA VI and Rockstar. I already know people are gonna constantly hype and cope on how "great and the bestest game ever it will be!" While I do feel bad for the fans. This is why I am glad I stopped caring about the franchise and Rockstar after IV. I do wish better for the employees, but they keep getting abused and screwed over. The other reason why I refuse to touch this series ever again.

There are much better games out there made by people who care or are actually treated like people. And not soulless automatrons nor machines.

Don't threaten me with a good time. I really wish this game would be canceled, sometomes just to see the looks on everyone's faces whom go all in on the hype. You forgot that this is the AAA(A) industry. It's all or nothing; especially on the western AAA front.

I bet we will get Fallout 5 before we get GTA 6 if they keep delaying everything but honestly I HATE GTA so why do I care. But I honestly feel sorry for people that trust a shit company like crap star sorry I mean Rock star.

Yet some how even if the game was delayed another 50 years or the game was mediocre it would be the best selling game in history which make me question the taste people have in game.

My brain just stop working just looking at the title. At this point, I just wish that they can keep the game. Just what is the point of this other than yanking people's chains. I just feel bad for the employees because they are just getting screwed over by Corpstar. Rockstar North's boiler explosion is just the more fuel to the fire that something about this game have gone horribly wrong if there is this many delays. Especially if it is the physical release getting possibly delayed.

I didn't say the layoffs will be worth it. You assume too much and focus too much on putting wors into people's mouths. Also, Rockstar laid off some people already for the dumbest and crappiest reasons. Fuck the executive class at Rockstar. They never have to suffer, no matter what happens. No, it's your problem that you couldn't bother to figure out, or could not read between the lines. Besides, already mentioned that they're not gonna do that anyway on canceling the game. No one legitimately cares about the game itself atp, it's beyond a laughingstock. It's just funny that the game infamous for never getting meaningful updates is still getting multiple before the most hyped game in history drops a playable demo
