The cost is too much too fail. GTA is a symbol of one of the biggest game in the world. if it's somehow fails, it would spell doom in industry general, even more.

TBH, not a fan, but often play GTA series, just for walk, enjoying the open world and also good mods.
I never understand why people loves to mass shooting and made chaos in this series though it's the main feature (attraction) considered by most people. I play it safely, never hit people with cars unless the mission says so, driving by the law, even learnt driving nicely from it. well each to their own...

If I was asked, I'm more Yakuza series than GTA.
Well, maybe because I'm asian and happened to travels to Japan regularly these years .

Yakuza has fun mini games. Yakuza has Sega arcade games. Yakuza plays like an RPG and a beat em up. Yakuza is both funny and serious at the same time. IT'S FUN.

GTAIV was the last one I enjoyed playing, and even that was a letdown compared to the previous generation. I won't be playing it, I probably won't even realise it's been released.
I did enjoy that fan remaster of San Andreas here in the Repo!

I've been playing GTA4 and every time I get into a car and hear the fake commercials before I cycle to the custom radio I realize just how hackneyed and unfunny the writers are. At least the dialog is okay.

yeaaaaahhh. I really think the GTA hype train for me died during the Xbox 360 days. Guess I'm just not into being a mass shooter and a mindless ciminal.

gta to me died out after i tried vice city a long time ago it to me it had it's omg adult themes content shock and after that it was just dull as hell to me.

and there's also the silliness that was the original release of san andreas being pulled because of a dummied out sex minigame that required modding to restore (thus out of reach for normal players).

my favorite GTA is Yakuza. My favorite Yakuza is Shenmue.

GTA is nothing like Yakuza, though. It's a mission-based open world. Yakuza is basically an undercover action RPG with brawler combat.

Well, basically they both open world action adventure, with crime/underworld theme. Gameplay are differs, but the core almost the same. You got area to explore, and story resolve around it. Albeit with different concept of combat and story/quest execution. One is heavy to simplicity of the gameplay, but bigger world. Other one is focusing to small but very rich in execution.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off if it's the best game ever and Rockstar still goes bankrupt. Though, TBH, I won't be surprised if it never releases because the United States collapses into Civil War by the time it comes out in 2028 or so.

Well GTA already being a series anyone who is not an adult shouldn't play, the game is a crime simulator and all so naturally it would have drug and sexual themes et cetera. As an adult such stuff may not be what you don't prefer to see for not being interested yet when you see it it's just okay. Being an adult is way different than being a kindergarten kid lol.

As for GTA SA minigame you mentioned, the game has dating sim elements so it having situation of sex that's really not much different than Sims games is okay. While in Sims games people have sex under blanket, in GTA SA minigame characters are fully clothed and they don't really seem like having sex and their movement is more like "dancing" that seem like they have sex so it's really not a "wow" thing per se. Even random tv series and movies have sex scenes that shows naked breasts and clear act of sex so this is not a big deal. This could have been in the game just fine as in this game you horribly kill people without any censor whatsoever so it having sex scenes wouldn't be weird for such a game lol. At most they could censor it if they felt like they have to be a nun as if the series is not "too much" already lol. I do see romance and sex scenes pointless in games even if it's part of the story which I shouldn't have to care, however games are developed for majority of people so they having such optional content for those who likes such things does not bother me at all especially when GTA San Andreas is more than that. People even play the game for years never realize it has dating option despite a long ass chain of mission on how you can romance a character that in the end tells you about these dating stuff but they didn't really paid attention to it lol.

In the end GTA is such a series that Rockstar implemented the full potential of the series in GTA San Andreas as in a game that is more like real life and therefore it offers great sandbox fun.

How much it will need for day one through Day twenty patches.

I won't be able to play GTA 6 which will be too expensive, the people of my country want to pay 600 which they think is a fair price and I also have new generation consoles I think I'll buy a Wi U
