First I hear that we're getting a sequel to The Simpsons movie after 20 years, and now this.

What's next? Independence Day 2: Independence Dayier?

Didn’t expect Greenland to get a sequel, but here we are. The whole “leave the bunker and risk the surface” setup could be cool… or just more disaster movie chaos. From what I’ve seen, Greenland: Migration picks up years after the comet impact, with the Garrity family leaving their shelter in search of a livable zone in Europe, France, apparently. There’s talk of radioactive storms, collapsed governments, and survivalist factions. Could be gripping, could be generic. Guess we’ll see.

What's next? Independence Day 2: Independence Dayier?

Fun fact, Will Smith turned down ID4:2 because the original pitch was a father/son story where Jaden would co-star.
But because how Badly received After Earth went, the last film he co-stared alongside Jaden, Will flat out refused to return.
It was shifted to a father/daughter trying to use the Bill Pullman's character (The President) which doesn't work as the film wasn't re-worked to accommodate a political lineage, it constantly refers to the importance of pilots as a tradition as the President battles with PTSD/Dementia.

Funny how quickly everyone forgot that a sequel was made, especially since every character imaginable reprised their roles except for Will Smith.
Even if their inclusion was an a$$pull.

My word that poster for it looks like CGI puke that was rendered in Photoshop and designed by an intern. Glad it became forgotten.
