IDK why you listed those games when the conversation was about the Metal Gear Solid series. If you played these games then you would know what I mean, if you don't then play the games again?

If you really think about it, most arcade exclusive early games, and even some post NES ones, but even then, since most Arcades had the plot in flyers that were meantr for the Arcade Owner to sell the game, most didn't were aware the was even a plot (And even those that did really didn't care, who cared about the plot of Galaga when the point was to get lots of points?)
