Hey so i wanted to burn the CDI to play Grandia II, but i was wondering whether any of you played the single disc version or the three disc. Any luck with this? if you played the three disc version, how do you know when to swap discs?

Its cdi format gimmick. 3CDI=1GDI. Reddit says change disc if disc ends at a cutscene.

There are three versions available in the repo. GDI tends to have higher quality

v2 repack by DCRES, fixes freezing on a cutscene after you go back to Roan’s city. Read the included nfo for more info on how to burn properly.
Your single disc is just a repack with a hack applied. They're all one disc, but it seems like the (single disc) is the way to go. You'd have to read the patch notes in the game description to see what emulators the freeze happens in.

Always use GDI when the option presents itself. CDI is for the brave soldiers still burning their discs to play on their Dreamcast, or homebrew.
