Has anyone been able to get this to work on a GDEMU?

I could not get this version to work, I found an older version on the forum. This is the one to look for. The one difference I found that is different from other versions you can find online is the buttons are mapped correctly for gunstores/hardware stores.

I don't think it's possible, though I imagine if the devs decided to split it into two discs then maybe it can run on an emulator (and burned to a disc).

I remember way back a hack of Space Channel 5 split the game into two halves to inject the higher quality bg video and visual effects from the PS2 version, the idea was you play levels 1&2, save, then swap discs and load your save to play levels 3&4, since I'm unfamiliar with GTA Idk if this is possible but Shinmue did it so... idk.

I have shared many unofficial PS Vita ports here but I guess I can update it later to add the GTA games, Bully too, I guess here in Asia GTA in general is just not very popular, sandbox games in general don't tend to do too well here let alone the violence, this is definitely more popular in America, though if it helps I really like Yakuza, but personal taste is subjective.

thanks for sharing the link to unofficial PS Vita ports. yeah i would you do that i can understand in mean time our able to add them too. GTA from american being popular in view of american yes and bully are both Rockstar Vancouver and the GTA games are Rockstar Game are quite popular. butt so is Yakuza here in the yes since the ps2 game had being Localization here since, and in asia sandbox must be to less popular being americanize mafia. you liking Yakuza makes sense being from asia. i did tend to like more open world not just in sandbox style of doing things. i bealvie Yakuza does this better then gta does even in older games.

you have a Vita port? sure i'm interested and true most games get port to other hardware in the future. so didn't add to your collection. i guess not huge fan while other tend to love this series to death. only crime related game i know can do anything you what. including commit crimes or murder i figure that why outside of missions is the biggist part of the games fans love the series.. butt i get your not a fan as it just not your thing and big time sonic fan too.

I may have access to the PS Vita port if you're interested, afaik every GTA under the sun that isn't GTA5 got a Vita port, lol, but I didn't bother add them to my PS Vita ports collection here simply because I never bothered to download them since I'm not much of a GTA fan myself.

When I boot this on my Terraonion MODE on a real Dreamcast it loads up fine, but when I start a new game it freezes on "Marco's Bistro, Liberty City 1986". Perhaps I need the ODE version? I didn't try GTA3 as I already have a working image of that game.

Hi ! I tried emulating the ROM with Redream, but the emulator keeps crashing. I also tried emulating with Flycast, but the game won't open. Is anyone else experiencing this or know of a solution? I have Windows11. Greetings.

Yo, how the hell did they get this to work? That's crazy.

it's a direct port from the pc version.
it doesn't have the ps2 lighting but it doesn't have it's blur effect either. which sometimes makes the dc port look cleaner.

Works on Flycast if you activate the HLE bios option. Does not work very well. I changed my resolution back to 640x480 and alpha sorting to "per-strip" option. Game still appears to have a major framerate issue. I was only using my phone, but I do run gamecube with texture packs on there also. Just saying, you may want to try this on your fastest device only, so probably a PC, 3 ghz minimum with a decent graphics card.

It did not work on any emulator I've tested, also it's too big to burn on a CD readable to run on real hardware so I guess this is GDEmu only, maybe one day it can be split in half as a multi-disk, I know there was a hack of Space Channel 5 that did that to use the higher res videos from the PS2 version.

It's a fan-port so it was more so meant to run on gdemu, there's probably a cdi version somewhere that strips out radio stations or something to fit
