Pioneered through the likes of Bauhaus and Siouxsie, goth rock is a dark and theatrical-like genre of music exploring the macabre and experimental or haunting production.

I'm surprised there wasn't a thread already. I love Goth Rock; it influenced my taste in music and aspects like fashion or video games as a child.

I love goths. I'm gothophile, since I was 12. Punk-goths, electro-goths, ostro-goths, grandma-goths. I just want to take them all in my arms and cuddle them, they're all so cute.

Based thread, love goth rock/post-punk/ebm/darkwave etc since I was an early teen. Join Hands and Juju are among my favourite albums

I know most of these songs aren't really "rock" but they fall under the goth music umbrella, and except the Inkubus Sukkubus one they used to play in the discos over here during the 80s.

i wish i could listen to more goth rock, unfortunately the emotional twinge of music effects me greatly and if im not in the right mindset to listen to "darker" music, i WILL get depressed. very fast
