I never played the game, I just typed what's in the wiki very fast and didn't see that she has stage fright.

OmegaPunch, I so hate to do this to you, but singing is what Claris, the female protagonist of NiGHTS into Dreams..., is actually afraid of – specifically, she has stage fright. She overcomes it in a very touching scene by the end of the game, though.
