My honest review of the Goosebumps episode: “The Cursed Mask”

The episode starts with the host introducing tonight’s horror story, focusing on a girl who learns about love and the importance of family. Even though she is very fearful, she discovers that family always comes first.

I found the premise very interesting. It feels like a classic 80s horror movie, with a nostalgic vibe similar to old horror shows like Elvira and other vintage horror programs. The aesthetic really stood out to me.

One of the most interesting parts was the idea of the masks. They represent the face of the shop owner, who cannot accept himself the way he is. This adds a deeper psychological layer to the story.

In the end, her younger brother tries to use one of the masks, but she stops him, saying it is not meant for him to wear.

The episode closes with the host asking the parents about their reaction, and they appear extremely shocked, with white hair and expressions of fear.

Final rating: 9.7/10

My brother and I still quote this whole series CONSTANTLY when we are together... Especially bits from the earlier episodes.

Adicionar imagens tornaria tudo ainda mais interessante.
I hope you like it.

Meu irmão e eu ainda citamos essa série inteira CONSTANTEMENTE quando estamos juntos... Principalmente trechos dos primeiros episódios.
I may make a joke, your brother is Bart Simpson, and you're Lisa. But seriously, this is really good, I'm doing these review projects.

Yes It's well written, just add some pictures and then you'll have a great article review.

The problem is that I don't know how to pronounce many words because of my accent and my way of life. I always look up words on the internet, I use what I remember from videos in my head, and I recite everything.I provide all my detailed analysis, and I use artificial intelligence only to translate it into English and add my own ideas and details that I like.

Interesting, so that's your writing style. That's good, okay, then leave it as it is because it's well written. Forget the pictures.

Pretty good review.

I too really enjoy the messaging behind the episode 'There is nothing more powerful than the love of family and friends' as R.L Stine stated in the opening sequence.
To me this is pretty much the perfect Halloween light viewing piece, mostly for the 90's seasonal vibe.
The shots during night time in the local streets whilst kids are trick or treating are especially nostalgic, the costumes, decor, and my personal favorite being inside the novelty shop. the music hits hard too, ambient yet cosy.

Absolute classic, glad you liked it.

I liked the show. I liked the writer; is he the same writer as the books, or is it an actor playing a character? I liked it. I discovered that there are several episodes dubbed in Brazilian Portuguese.

You mean the guy talking at the start? yes that is indeed THE R.L Stine himself, who writes the books.

Here's a shot of actress Kathryn Long with Stine at makeup.

The good news is that I found several episodes dubbed in Portuguese, and I'll definitely watch them.

One of the best show intros ever.

I used to watch it and had the books, this really brings back memories.
