Good video games for couples

My first recommendation is going to be a bit of a weird one, but any of the Dark Souls seamless coop mods are a TON of fun with friends! Dark Souls is usually a dark lonely experience, but with a friend it becomes a fun romp through a dark fantasy world since you can customize the difficulty from the coop settings in the mod!

The second one isn't a game that's out yet, but popped up on my radar recently that I thought looked cool but I have no one to play it with. Orbitalis! It's like an old space anime come to life! It reminds me of when my dad would make me watch Space Battleship Yamato with him because he wanted to watch it but I guess didn't want to look weird in front of my mom so put it on under the pretense that it was for me.

The entire Gears Of War series offer couch co-op and especially when it comes the 360 games, from the outset they might seem your regular shooty-dooty alpha male games, but they actually tell an adventurous and sometimes emotionally devastating stories. So I think both from a gameplay and fun perspective, and also a emotional story to bond over perspective, they might be a nice time with wifey.
