Good evening everyone, glad to be here!
Looking for an active retro forum to take part in, and hopefully run some high score competitions. I have been gaming since the 80s, and collecting retro stuff for about 8 or 9 years now.
Welcome here. Tell us more about your collection.

It's a pretty crazy mix of older stuff, not really interested in much from about 2006 on, as I have always been a PC gamer, so the "newer" consoles never really felt that good to play on a controller versus mouse and keyboard. I just never got that good with 3D games on a controller, especially FPS games.

I have a lot of older computer stuff like Commodore, Atari, Tandy, IBM compatibles, etc.. And for consoles I focus mainly on 8 bit and 16 bit stuff. My SMS collection is definitely my largest, with almost a full NA set complete in box.

Just north of 1000 games total and maybe 40+ systems of various types and ages.

I have a bit over 1000 games myself, but they're not spread out among as many different systems as yours::omgdoom I think I have games from like 15 different systems at most.
