I'm going out to a flea market in my area, so any idea of games I should get is appreciated

I also plan on picking up a PSP or vita if I find any

Not sure what you're interested in but as some general advice, get these if you see them. They are rare and worth alot. They're pretty good games too.

Hard to say, we could've told you to buy a shit game and we won't even notice

So what genre do you like?

A few if you happen to come across them. Hopefully not expensive.

Xenogears
Final Fantasy 7/8
Valkyrie Profile
Dot Hack
Castlevania Symphony of the night

Hmmm... those are notable good/classics.

If you see a cheap copy of Suikoden I/II, might as well grab 'em. Also most Square titles, Ehrgeiz in particular is an amazing shooter.

Anyway, if you are on the lookout like right now

There are some great platformers for the PS1 like the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot series. Both series still exists in PS2 library but some of them are quite broken, especially the time constraints for their development

PS2 still have a solid platformers though like the three kings such as Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper

If you're a fan of stealth games or I guess a fan of "Tactical Espionage" action, then Metal Gear Solid series is for you! If you like hack and slash, then there's Devil May Cry and God of War (also the other underrated ones)

FPS? A bunch of old Call of Duty, but also there's Medal of Honor, Brothers in Arms, Darkwatch, Killzone, Rainbow Six and Timesplitters series, etc.

Or the even older classics like Doom, Duke Nukem and Quake. Horror? There's the big boys series like Resident Evil and Silent Hill

Racing? Well…A LOT! Like there's Wipeout, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo, NASCAR, Road Rash, Downhill Domination, Crash Team Racing, Midnight Club, etc.

A lot to choose from, but pick the genre you love and enjoy ::dkapproves

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Whiplash and Scaler are really good platformers.
If you're looking for a shooter, keep an eye out for Urban Chaos: Riot Response, Black and 50 Cent Bulletproof.
But really, just take anything that catches your eye.

For psx i recommend
-Vagrant Story
-Valkyrie profile
-Vib-Ribbon
-Chrono Cross

And for ps2 i would recommend
-Metal Gear Solid 2
-Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
-Ico
-God Hand
