Godzilla: Monster of Monsters to me, is quite the enjoyable romp!

HOO-HOOT, greetings sons of man- nothing like a good game to stretch those talons over, right? And, I do say- there's a time and a place for some repetitive, mind-numbing bashing and smashing nonsense... AND SO I HUMBLY DECREE- This game is VERY good at...There's something very endearing and enjoyable about sending your favorite kaiju through various, HIGHLY destructible landscapes (even if they spam projectiles ALOT....) RIGHT on top of PUNCH the NERVES right out of Moguera boss fights they give you!

And, did I even mention the music and sprite work? I think it's quite the lookers.... Also, I seem to be in the minority- as I prefer using Mothra over the Big G if needed. Perhaps it's the extra challenge of keeping her kicking- or maybe it's the faster pace she gives compared to Godzilla? NO clue... But I have a soft spot for the mothball!

(OOC: Seriously, these backgrounds are GORGEOUS to me.)

Always liked this game. Always will! Had no idea it had built up a reputation as a "bad" game until a few years ago. People can say what they want, of course, but I don't think that label is deserved in this case.

ProTip: Remember to use the Start button for your special attacks! For Godzilla, it charges up his atomic breath, while for Mothra, it makes her shed her wings and drop them like bombs onto enemies below. More than makes up for her standard, rather-wimpy "eye laser" attack

OH I'm well aware! Godzilla's atomic breathe is a BEAST both in battle and on the map.. truly is GOD-like you could say. And Mothra's wing shed is also pretty good in maps.. BUT in bosses it's a little situational I feel, I usually go all bullet hell.

Hahaha, oh brother, I saw the way the post was laid out and was ready for the new godzilla creepypasta. Glad you enjoy it. Personally I'm in the same camp, where I think it's a fine game. I think it gets a bad wrap because for myself, I had to really sit down with it and give it a chance for it to shine. I also really liked the creepypasta, it's actually why I bought the game, so if there's anything I find disappointing about Godzilla: Monster of Monsters, it's that my copy is not haunted.

FAIR statement my good man..... You know, possesing a NES cartiridge DOES sound fun right about now. Hoot!

(OOC: I WILL say i ADORREE the nes creepypasta, but less for it's scare factor- but like pure creativty in it's creature designs and world building. The Not-Monsters are so damn cool.

BUT yeah while I do adore the game a lot, but I'd be kidding if critically, i said it was anything more than "fine" but I'll defintely take a fine ziller game compared to whatever mobile game godzilla slop toho is cranking out... SERIOUSLY just make a pipeworks trilogy remaster.. i beg of you!)
