Seeing God Hand just reminded me that a while back, someone made a mod that replaces the main dude with Mai Shiranui.

I don't suppose he would be willing to let us archive that over here

I wonder why they felt the need to remove this in the first place?

Probably because it's a japanese gag which wouldn't make sense for most people on the west. Maybe they could've changed the pan into like a small piano or something and the joke would be mostly intact, at least it would make more sense for western culture. I think.

Also check out this excellent mod, which basically adds style switching to the Dpad. It's really easy to use too;
1) go to site: https://azekeprofit.github.io/GodHandMovesetSwitcher.htm
2) click "Generate Pnach file" button
3) it will download a pnach file which you should copy to your /pcsx2/cheats/ folder
4) start up pcsx2 -> enable cheats
5) start the game.

note: on the website you can customize which moves go in which of the 4 dpad styles. Honestly i felt the defaults were really good, and it's my preferred way to play the game.

WARNING: I have not tested the style switching mod on this uncensored patch version of the game. It might not work.

So i tested it, and the style switching mod seems to just work!

However pcsx2 might not detect the cheat file for the godhand uncensored iso because of different CRC code. It also seems pcsx2 had an update where the cheat system works differently. And depending on your installation of pcsx2 the cheats folder can be in a different place.


What i found the easiest is:
1) Start the god hand uncensored patch iso
2) Click "Tools" -> "Edit Cheats". It will (create and) open a file.
3) Copy paste the contents of the style switcher .pnach file into this file.
4) save, and it should work now.

is this also include undub?

There is no other dub of this game, only english. The japanese version includes subs along with the english dub.

Good Restorations of this game like the Roulette Technique called Dead Pan which is a deadly attack on enemies and the Food called Chihuahua Curry which increases the TP to 30 (although it costs 10000G) as shown in the game screenshots and also the censorship of the game is removed and feels like a new way to replay this great PS2 game.
