Makai-mura is the Japanese name for Ghosts 'N Goblins and the original title meant Demon World Village. Sorry this is a server problem which will look into soon.
In the meanwhile, could you refresh the page and try again, it should randomly work, but in some cases there are some probs. Thanks.

What does T+EN and such mean?
They are abbreviation to help un-kill our OSes:

T+En = Translation English
T+Es = ... Spanish
T+In = ... Indonesian
T+Ru = ... Russian

Enjoy!

T stands for translation.
[T+XXX] - Latest translation in "XXX" language
[T-XXX] - Outdated translation in "XXX" language
T+EN means that it's latest English translation.
Ops didn't see you mentioning.. Baraban 100% right, well, 200% right, better than my explanation :loldog

I'm one of the few who did a fair and square 1 cc run on the NES version and it was the Famicom one. On a real Famicom.

I find this version in some ways harder than the arcade due to certain quirks like the bird can at rare occasions weave between your knife throws (maybe due to the lower framerate) and hit you. Also, it was easier to fool Red Arremers in the arcade version to do a ground rush in which you could kill them quickly. The NES ones can get wise to it fast even if you succeed.

With a shorter learning curve (but in a good way) and with all the improvements for the game, it feels like a port close to the Arcade version of the game, although without losing so much of the touch of the challenge that characterizes it.
