i've been reading through neuromancer and im having a blast, i'm not much of a fan of the cyberpunk genre (im aware the original genre is dystopian-fiction) but this book just makes me fall in love with it more.
im wondering if the entire sprawl trilogy + burning chrome are worth reading/looking into and if so please give me some advice when it comes to my expectations and whaatnot, any form of that would be nice.

William Gibson is foundational to the genre (literally), and his work can feel a little rough if you've read modern takes on the genre.

They're mostly straight-up classic Cyberpunk with corpo-control, near-future settings ruined by tech, and a huge focus on an underground scene of criminals working against corporate interests.

RE: Sprawl, it's a great trilogy to get into because they're not directly tied together by main characters or anything. The entire series takes place over nearly 2 decades (IIRC) and mostly focuses on new people for each novel.

I can also recommend "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" which is a Phillip K Dick story that went on to become the basis for Blade Runner. Even if you've seen the film, I can highly recommend the book because it genuinely adds a decent amount of stuff that you don't really get to understand from the movie alone.
