Going with the planetary theming, calling the Dreamcast the Sega Jupiter would have sounded pretty neat, at least to me. I never thought Dreamcast (or either of its prototype names) was that good.

Also not every games were slown down, PAL Sonic 2 ran at the same speed alongside other later games on the hardware.

Considering that he was Ignoring what I wrote I assume its rage baiting those things tend to to happen from tome to time.

Where i live, we call it neither Genesis nor MegaDrive... just Sega!
However, the console i had had MegaDrive written on it.

Mega Drive.

Maybe it's just me but when I was 5, I enjoyed watching vinyl records spin while they played music. Fast forward later, we had floppy disc drives in our Apple 2 computer and I knew something inside was spinning. And when the Mega Drive came out, the huge circular design surrounding the cart slot as well as the name "Mega Drive" gave the impression there was a drive in the console even though I knew there wasn't.

It gave an odd sort of comforting feeling even if there really wasn't something spinning inside.

And that's why I prefer Mega Drive and it's not just because I bought the Japanese version.
