I be out here in these mean skreets. Really, I've just been playing Oblivion Remastered and Grand Theft Auto IV with a few sessions of Gears of War on the side. Doing a roofing job this week. It got postponed till Thursday due to chance of rain though.

I've been worse! Work has been okay lately, and I saw some old friends at a wedding this weekend. Plus my nerd shit, I spent the better part of an hour last night stubbornly replaying a fight in Clair Obscur I had no business winning. (A lot of the endgame content demands parrying every attack with perfect timing, it's exhausting to keep up for ten to twenty minutes but it always feels rewarding to "get ahead" and win anyways).

Probably a shocker, but outside of video games I like Vocalois and Miku a lot too. I'm pretty into martial arts and Kendo/Japanese fencing too, although I haven't formally been with a dojo in a few years. I like singing too, but haven't recorded anything in forever.

When it's a game I know is gonna be good I like to support the devs. I'm a no questions asked type of consumer, I definitely contribute to how bad the industry is right now. But I don't care, if the companies are gonna put out good products then I'll support it. Clair definitely deserves it. I'd definitely get Clair instead of Doom on console. Couldn't imagine playing Dark Ages on a controller. I played 2016 on console cause I had no choice at the time, but man I can't do FPS games on controller anymore. Especially if Dark Ages is gonna be anything like Eternal. I made it 10 minutes into Eternal on console before I gave up. Beat it on Nightmare on PC first playthrough and made it to level 6 on Ultra Nightmare, still run it every once in a while to try to beat it but you know.

That's pretty much how I feel about it too, I couldn't wait to try it out but they'll definitely get my money. (I'm the opposite on shooters though; I can't play FPS with a mouse and keyboard, I got into the habit back when Team Fortress Classic was a thing but it's been like twenty-something years).
