General Off-topic Chat (AKA let's break the ice)

You guys like Huey Lewis and the News?

Their early work was a little too "new wave" for my taste

Dinosaur Planet, Custom Robo, both Castlevania 64 games, Sin & Punishment, All Bomberman games, Star Fox 64, F Zero 64, Perfect Dark, Dezaemon 64 (though it's a little confusing to work, I recommend the SNES game, Dezaemon 2 for Saturn, or Dezaemon Plus for PS1 over it), Goldeneye, Mischief Makers and Star Solder: Vanishing Earth

I FORGOT STAR FOX IN MY LIST HOW COULD I
I KNEW SOMETHING WAS MISSING. IT'S THE COOLEST SHIT EVER

Dinossaur Planet definitely activates my n64 neuron, thought I haven't beat it. I heard you can finish the game now?

Another day of waking up
Life full of action for sure

DBZ was just cool as a kid. I knew it was anime because toonami had a whole slot just for it. But it really was the only show I followed as a kid independently (on TV without saving episodes). It was just dope, and it fired off all the cool things I liked as a kid in my lil' kid brain. I think DBZ has a HUGE part to play in people even knowing what anime is.
'Dragon Ball Z' is an enjoyable product even when watched through the eyes of an adult, but you must absolutely avoid the dubbed version: especially if you lived in North America or other English-speaking regions where FUNimation exported its garbage.

'Garbage' because the dialogues, the voice casting, and even the soundtracks, do not have anything to do with its original counterpart (some background sounds are even missing where they were supposed to be).

The U.S. version is closer to its parody 'Abridged,' than to what Toei Animation created in the '80s and '90s.

I’ve noticed that for some of my own posts, I think it’s when their older editing is disabled.

Since I'm new here, here is a question of mine that doesn't need a whole thread about:

Why was RGT twitter account deleted but it still has an account at Bluesky, Instagram and Facebook? And even its own subreddit.
