Games you thought deserved a sequel or another entry?

suikoden. hope konami make a gacha suikoden game.

Oh no, Turok. I'm really not optimistic with Origins, not one bit, but who knows...
I agree . It looks like another hero-shooter .
And how funky the powers of these characters are , they missed the point of Turok entirely .

JUST GIVE ME A BUFF NATIVE AMERICAN WITH HUGE GUNS , DINOS TO KILL , COOL SCI-FI SHENANIGANS , FAST GAMEPLAY AND HUGE BOSSES LIKE CYBORG-DINOSAURS , SPACE-MONSTERS AND/OR COLOSAL INSECTS !!!

IS IT THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND FOR THE GAMES-INDUSTRY ?! GOD DAMMIT !

Phantasy Star is still made by Sega.

(Unless you're talking about the classic series).
I wish Sega would destroy the abomination that is New Genesis so a new and proper Phantasy Star Game (like Portable 2 Infinty) may rise form its ashes.

Devil May Cry never died, but i do want a sixth installment to the series asap. i fucking love Devil May Cry

And PvZ shooters never died per se, but after creating Garden Warfare 1 and 2 they made Battle For Neighbourville which, sure, is a shooter but not really like the Garden Warfare games. It would be sick if they made another shooter that has an active Dev team as well as more like the previous games

The only thing Origins got right are the native americans and dinos but it lacks the rest...

Especially if they don't show aliens or sci-fi weapons (and even cosmic Horror like Oblivion).

It's still sad that the latest single player game in the franchise is stuck on the Vita in Japan for over a decade.

Breast of fire
Grandia
Uncharted waters "no I don´t care about Uncharted that games series can stay dead that dick bag Druckman would only fuck it up"
Time splitters
legacy of kain
Parasite Eve
Sly Cooper
Dino Crisis "remake 1 and 2 like you did RE 2" surviving Zombies are such a dying boring concept.

Hmmmm...

Time Crisis (5th entry in the arcade series doesn't have a home port yet)

A good City Hunter videogame (I think there was a mediocre one for the PC Engine...)

A good Ranma 1/2 videogame, fighting, beat-em-up, sandbox or whatever...

Cadillacs & Dinosaurs (at least an official re-lauch of the 90s arcade)

Aliens Vs. Predator (same as above)

Final Fight (maybe as a mod for GTA VI)

A new Darkstalkers

Dead or Alive 6 Ultimate Final Last Round Evolution or whatever, with a tag team mode, less micro-transactions and more bug fixes... 😡

A new Out Run

A new Ridge Racer

A new Ape Escape

A new Punch Out! (no more Punch Out since Nintendo Wii??)

A good Hajime No Ippo game (there was one for PS3, but only in Japanese language...😒)

A new F-Zero, but now using analogue triggers to control brakes and acceleration... (Does that lead to a new WipeOut?
😵‍💫
)

I wish Metal Gear would come back. A sequel to Rising, or a new mainline style game would both be welcome. They don't even have to continue the plot of the previous games. Just give me silly anime drama/cutscenes and great levels/gameplay.

A real F-Zero follow up would also be welcome. The series peaked with GX, and it's a real shame it was never iterated on past that. I agree that F-Zero 99 doesn't count.

There's too many for me to count but off the top of my head I'd like to see another:

Drakengard
King's Field
Deception/Kagero
Dark Seal

How about some Chrono Break?

Chrono Break original concept was recicled for Final Fantasy Dimensions II, confirmed by one of the three Chrono Trigger directors, Takashi Tokita:

Hmmm about series I want to return... I dunno, normally I let go easily, but Rockman X8 ends with a pretty big cliffhanger and I want to know what the heck is that thing shining in Axl's chest.

Given the news of a number of long dormant franchises being revived, I was wondering if anyone has other games series they'd love to see come back.

For me, after seeing Ninja Gaiden and Onimusha coming back, I'd love to see the Samurai/Ninja momentum continue and get a new Tenchu game. I know Sekiro started development as a Tenchu revival, but I wanna see Rikimaru and Ayame get a comeback.
I froth at the mouth, waiting and biding my time for anything Tenchu related, man. I dunno how everyone else thinks about it, but I think that the two best games of the series is Wrath of Heaven and Fatal Shadows, actually peak

I'm wondering, was FF-Type 0 meant as a non FF game at first? I know that Xenogears was FFVII before VII was made.

Breath of fire- Maybe nostalgia is Blinding but the first four instalments each offer such unique mechanics outside of combat (shaman, karn fusion, bird lol) and a story both thought provoking and engaging that left me always wanting to know what happens next especially two, quite possibly the best intro hour to a rpg ever! Not to mention the infinity dungeon town (for sake of spoils I won't say) has the best town music I've ever heard and blows your mind with story revelations built up over one tough ass game that more less make it all worth the effort. As a eleven year old it was nothing short of amazing and awe inspiring to my young mind.

Still waiting for a Suikoden VI set in Harmonia. I hope they HD remasters sell well enough that Konami actually decides to make another mainline entry after almost 20 years.

Wild Arms and Shadow Hearts are at least getting spiritual successors so hopefully they end up good.

Xenogears wasn't FFVII exactly - it was a concept that was presented when the team was brainstorming ideas for FFVII, but it wasn't accepted and then was used in another game. Same thing happened with other ideas - the "New York city in present day" concept by Hironobu Sakaguchi was used for Parasite Eve, while the Witch Edea was used in FFVIII.
Type-0 was always intended to be a part of Fabula Nova Crystallis, but the project changed focus during the development, its original name was Final Fantasy Agito XIII and was going to be a cellphone game.

The development lore behind FFVII is almost as cool as the game itself. We need a full-blown documentary on it at some point. Get Werner Herzog on that bitch

IK this isn't the question but I don't think Klonoa should come back tbh, it’s got a perfect ending with 2 imo.

Maybe something to do with the GBA title but that’s really it.

I wonder if with the series we might get a new Twisted Metal...

But I'd love to see a remake or remaster of the Heretic and Hexen series. You can't even buy Heretic II anywhere.

Dino Crisis in the style of RE7 would be great, an uncut and unaltered remaster of God Hand would be killer, a sequel or reboot of Wet would be awesome, more Condemned of any sort would also be appreciated. But most of all I want anything with the Nemesis system, if WB execs would stop being absolute asses
