Games you like for arbitrary reasons?

Earth Defense Force 4. For the hymm alone. Even the AI-controlled allies on Singleplayer sing it up!

"We'll unleash all our forces! We won't cut them any slack!"

Taking the question in the literal sense, I really like the Gen 1 Pokemon games for their glitches that can use Arbitrary Code Execution (also referred to as ACE) to run nearly any code that the hardware is capable of running without the use of an external device.

To give a different answer, I like Fire Emblem 7 more than other entries in the series because of Lyn's critical move animations.

This applies to FE Awakening's critical cut-ins, too. I've found that I prefer these to the later entries' full face cut-ins, for the most part. They're quick and snappy. I like the gameplay of both games as-is, too, but I'd be lying if I said that these animations weren't a big reason why I like them so much.
